Book Talk: Wild & Free
A Hope-Filled Anthem for the Woman Who Feels She Is Both Too Much and Never Enough
Hayley Morgan & Jess Connolly
For all the fullness of God available to His daughters, we often feel limited by two defining insecurities: "I am too much," and "I am not enough."
This book was such a breath of fresh air to read. I went in not knowing what it was going to be about ( I sometimes pick books by their covers) but glad I picked it up. This book helped me to redefine the term wild & free and what those words mean to me, NOT what society has labeled them as. Not only did it help to redefine the meaning of those words and who I strive to be, but this book also helped me view God differently. It helped me to grow closer to Him, further our relationship, and dive deeper into His word and who He made me to be. I know that sounds extreme but it’s true. I took what God was trying to tell me and ran with it.
These girls, their relationship with each other, with God, is beautiful. I love the real-life scenarios that they give and that they use scripture throughout. There were some things I didn’t know but took the time to dive further into God’s word.
I believe that every young woman who is on their journey for self-discovery and purpose needs to pick up this book.
It is time to redefine what wild & free truly means.
If you have read it, what were your biggest takeaways?
love & light,
