Kid Friendly Spring Break Activities
What To Do With Your Kids for Spring Break
It’s that time of year again where the kids are home from school for a whole week and you’re thinking to yourself, what in the world are we going to do!?
With a little thought and effort, there is plenty to keep those little bodies busy.
Here are just a few:
visit the zoo
visit the botanical garden
visit the children's museum or any museum
go for a nature walk or hike, turn it into a scavenger hunt
visit your local park
start a garden
arts & crafts - Pinterest is a great resource for this
visit the library and pick out some Spring focused books
have them help with the spring cleaning
schedule a play date with some friends
go on a lunch or movie date with your kids
have a picnic in the park or at home
have a movie marathon at home
play some board games
play an outdoor sport together
It honestly doesn’t take much. Just keep them engaged and moving. And if they are screaming how bored they are; boredom never killed anyone and the most creative things come from boredom, so let them be bored!
If you want some more kid friendly activities, I created a Spring bucket list that you can add into your rotation of activities. You can read more here.
