Kid Friendly Spring Break Activities

What To Do With Your Kids for Spring Break

It’s that time of year again where the kids are home from school for a whole week and you’re thinking to yourself, what in the world are we going to do!?

With a little thought and effort, there is plenty to keep those little bodies busy.

Here are just a few:

  • visit the zoo

  • visit the botanical garden

  • visit the children's museum or any museum

  • go for a nature walk or hike, turn it into a scavenger hunt

  • visit your local park

  • start a garden

  • arts & crafts - Pinterest is a great resource for this

  • visit the library and pick out some Spring focused books

  • have them help with the spring cleaning

  • schedule a play date with some friends

  • go on a lunch or movie date with your kids

  • have a picnic in the park or at home

  • have a movie marathon at home

  • play some board games

  • play an outdoor sport together

It honestly doesn’t take much. Just keep them engaged and moving. And if they are screaming how bored they are; boredom never killed anyone and the most creative things come from boredom, so let them be bored!

If you want some more kid friendly activities, I created a Spring bucket list that you can add into your rotation of activities. You can read more here.
