Current Favorite Children Books: 001
I am a huge fan of reading and it has clearly rubbed off on my daughter. Her book collection is growing as rapidly as ours is. So I wanted to share some of my current favorite children's books that we find ourselves constantly reaching for. You may see a favorite of yours or one you think the kiddies will enjoy.
This book is absolutely stunning. The pictures and words are so beautiful. My husband only ever wants to read this book anymore. It's a great reminder to know that each child is special and was created with special gifts for a greater purpose.
I remember reading this book when I was growing up. I thought it was the funniest thing ever, seeing cows typing and going on strike. The best part is of course the ducks.
We picked this book up from a book sale and I am so pleased that we did. I literally laugh out loud every time we read this book. It's about each crayon writing a letter to it's owner expressing how they each feel about how they are being used. How cute is that!?
We own like 6 different variations of the three little pigs but this has got to be my favorite one. I brought this book home one day in elementary school and my mom bought if for Jordan. Let's just say the media has a way of changing the story. The wolf was framed!
This is another beautifuly illustrated and written book. I adore books that are inspirational and innspiring to children. It gives something they can look up to.
So there you have it, the books we've been reading in the Dodson household. What books are your family enjoying?
