Book Talk: Bloom

Let's just take a moment to talk about Estée. She is a beauty blogger and digital influencer on YouTube and a total bad ass. I have been following her for years and let's just say I'm obsessed. She recently came out with her personal book: Bloom, Navigating Life and Style. I just so happened to finish her book in a day because 1. I could never find it in store and 2. When I did find it and started reading it, I was hooked.

The photos in the book are stunning. The page quality is very nice, and the words are relate-able. Estée talks about life, people, work, beauty, fashion, home, travel, and of course, food. She even includes a few recipes in the back, and no, she's not a chef.

I find Estée to be relate-able because she has dealt with body issues, anxiety, depression, moving to a new place, and really putting herself out there. We all have to lose ourselves to really find ourselves. It goes with my motto that life is a learning process. She is self-taught in many areas which I believe a lot of millennials are these days. We see something we like and we teach ourselves how to do it. She's simplistic and elegant all at the same time and that good kind of funny. If you haven't seen her videos, you should. Oh! and did I mention, she's Canadian and lives in London?

She's someone I look up to and inspires me in so may aspects of life.

The reason her book is titled Bloom:

"is the idea that anything is possible when you put your mind to it."

I never like to spill too much in my book talks, so go check out the book for yourself. She covers a wide variety of topics and I'm sure we can all relate in some way, shape, or form. Also, feel free to check out her videos on YouTube.

Enjoy!
