My Current Makeup Routine: Quick & Minimal
It’s kind of bittersweet to say that I don’t wear as much makeup as I used to. If I can go without makeup, 9 out of 10 times I probably will. I honestly think it’s because I just don’t have the time. With two kids and a third on the way, it is the absolute struggle trying to get everyone out of the door in a sufficient amount of time.
Luckily, I’ve picked up some new beauty products that I have been loving and that make my makeup routine go by quickly. I’m talking ten minutes or less!
I’ve been skipping the foundation and going straight to the concealer for my under-eye area and spot concealing. The e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer with the Satin Finish looks so good on the skin! It blends so well and I would say it gives medium coverage that you can build upon. I’m currently using the shade medium sand.
Next, I use my Maybelline Superstay Better Skin, Skin-transforming powder in warm nude 30 to set and add a little more coverage in certain areas. I have oily skin, so powders are a must in my makeup routine.
Next, I add some bronzer from the e.l.f. bronzer palette to add some color back into the skin. I use the upper left corner shade. Then I add some blush from my NARS blush duo in the shade Orgasm. I love blush and this color just adds so much color and dewiness back into the skin.
My favorite brushes are from Sonia Kashuk, sold at Target. Once all the powders are done, I spray my face with some type of facial mist or setting spray. Usually, whatever I have on hand.
I’m still using my tried and true e.l.f precision bow pencil in the color taupe, along with their clear brow gel.
I recently picked up the e.l.f. length and volume mascara which is perfect for an everyday makeup look. It lengthens my eyelashes without being too dramatic or heavy.
The two lip products I’ve been switching back and forth between are the Physician’s Formula The Healthy Lip with a velvet finish in the color all-natural nude and the NARS Afterglow lip balm in orgasm. These products just enhance my natural lip color and are easy to apply throughout the day
