Are You My Monster? by Amanda Noll

This is such a cute book. It’s a little boy who is looking for his monster and goes through a series of monsters checking off a list of qualities to see if they’re a match to his monster. It’s a part of a series done by Amanda Noll. My son loves responding to the questions throughout the book. It’s a lot of repetition which makes it easy for your little one to follow along.

Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do you Hear? & Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do you See? by Bill Martin Jr. & Eric Carle

I love books by Eric Carle and his illustrations. They are so fun and colorful. These books my toddler can read again and again, every single day. It’s fun identifying and talking about all of the animals seen throughout the books.

Another good one by Eric Carle is From Head to Toe.

Edgar Gets Ready for Bed by Jennifer Adams

This is such a cute book inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven.” It’s about a cheeky little raven who needs to get ready for bed. We have read this book so much that now I read the part of the mother and my little one responds as Edgar. It is the cutest thing!

The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss

We have the board book version and the full-length version. The rhymes make my toddler happy and he likes to see all of the silly characters and the things that they do with their feet. It’s a very silly book but a classic.

Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb by Al Perkins

This is s another fun rhyming book. Because of the rhymes throughout my little one can recite this whole book back to me. It’s helped create curiosity around our hands and musical instruments. We also enjoy the pictures.

It took a while before my little one became interested in books. He was more interested in destroying them and coloring in them which is normal. But over time, we have learned to really foster a love for reading and now you can find me reading one of these books at least 4 times in a row before bed.

What are some books your little one just can’t get enough of?

Love & Light,
