Children's Fall Reading List
Fall is undeniably my favorite season. The weather is getting cooler which makes it the perfect time to curl up with your kiddos, a blanket, and a Fall themed book. With us homeschooling this year, we have a couple of different Fall-themed unit studies that we’ll be diving into so, I gathered all of the Fall theme books we’ll be reading through.
Seeds & Trees by Brandon Walden
Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Pak
We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger
Why Do Leaves Change Color? by Betsy Maestro
How Do Apples Grow? by Betsy Maestro
My Little Golden Book About Johnny Appleseed by Lori Haskins Houran
Magic Tree House #27 Thanksgiving on Thursday by Mary Pope Osborne
Magic Tree House Research Guide Pilgrims by Mary Pope Osborne
Now I do have a third grader and she can for sure read all of these on her own, however, my toddler loves to sit and listen to the stories if I’m reading them aloud. They are very season inspired and pack full of information. The illustrations are absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to dive deeper into them this Fall!
We’ll also be exploring a lot of Fall-themed books on Epic! and I can’t wait to share more on that!
Look out for more books I’ll be sharing throughout our homeschool year!
Love & light,
Jalesa
