Book Talk: Someone We Know
Shari Lapena
"Maybe you don't know your neighbors as well as you thought you did.."
Everyone has a secret to hide. Secrets that no one should ever find out. Olivia's son has been breaking into houses. He says he doesn't steal anything. So then why is he breaking into houses? He's going through their neighbors’ personal computers. Computers where people keep some of their darkest secrets, even if they deleted their search history.
So when a woman is found murdered and a letter about recent break-ins is spreading through the neighborhood, neighbors can only wonder could there be some correlation.
How well does one really know their neighbors? Is it just a smile and a wave or are there lies and affairs happening right in front of everyone's eyes?
Everyone's secrets intertwine more than you know.
I did not expect the plot twist at the end of this book. You have to keep reading to discover every last secret. You'll never guess the biggest one.
I am a huge fan of Shari Lapena. She does an amazing job at unexpected endings. Have you read this one yet?
love & light,
