Personal Style & An OOTD

I've never been the girl to dress my age. Everyone always told me I dressed like an "old lady." I just wasn't into mini skirts, crop tops, tight dresses, heels, and those shorts with your butt hanging out. I preferred to be covered more than most and I like a lot of vintage and over-sized style clothing. If that makes me look like an old lady then so be it. As I have gotten older, I'm not big into color. I grew out of that phase when I started high school. I like slip on shoes like vans. Give me an over-sized t-shirt and jeans, I'm happy.

I like to be comfortable and practical. There is a time and place for dresses and heels but wearing them every day, I'm not that kind of girl.

This OOTD describes my everyday style perfectly.

I live for simplicity and practicality. Plus I have a four year old that I need to chase after most days.

Outfit details:

Jeans: Aeropostale

Shoes: Cole Haan

I love these shoes. They literally dress so many outfits up or down which is perfect. I caught them on sale for $79 and they usually cost way more than that!

Embrace your personal style no matter what anyone says. If you feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable that's all that matters.

Enjoy!
