5 Ways to Make Mornings Easier

No one likes to wake up realizing they are late, having to juggle a million things at one time in hopes of making it out the door in a decent time and then realize your shirt is wrinkled, you have coffee on your pants and you forget almost 50% of what you need for the day. #noonehastimeforthat

  1. Prep the Night Before: Pick out your clothes, iron them, and hang them up so that you can instantly get dressed. You can waste so much time trying to figure out what to wear. Prepare and pack your lunch the night before or even for the entire week to save some money and some time. If you have an automatic coffee maker with a timer, set it up, so that you wake up to that sweet smell of coffee. Pack your work bag/purse so you’re not looking for stuff in the morning. No one has time for hide in seek.

  2. Charge/Put your Phone Outside of Your Bedroom: This is to remove any late night distractions and if you use your phone as an alarm, you are forced to get up out of bed to go turn the alarm off rather than rolling over to hit that snooze button for the third time.

  3. Get Some Water in You or On You: I personally take showers at night but taking a shower first thing in the morning, washing your face, or drinking a tall glass of water as soon as you wake up, instantly brings life and energy into you and your morning.

  4. Play Some Upbeat Music/A Podcast to Start Your Morning: It’s fun, it’s light and it’ll make you feel ready and productive for the day.

  5. Plan/Look Over Your Schedule/To Do List the Night Before: Write it all out! You’ll rest better and know what needs to be done in the morning without scrambling trying to remember and figure it out.

These tips and tricks have saved me so much time and relieved me of so much stress. Any tips you want to share? Please leave a comment down below! I’d love to hear.
