July Newsletter

Hey guys! So I've really been wanting to do a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date but I haven't rolled out my email campaign just yet, but soon! I saw on one of my favorite influencer's blog, Estee Lalonde, that she had her newsletter right there in the header. I thought it was such a cool and creative way and well, here we are.

July has been a fun month for us. We've been taking the time to not only spend time with our family but also with our friends. I think one of my favorite moments this month had to be when my best friend from high school came to visit from New York. It was a lot of fun being our age and going to Kings Dominion with a group of friends. It was just as great to have friends our age, married and with kids.

We also started attending our home church, Alive Church of Fredericksburg regularly again until my car decided it needed maintenance. Fun fact: My husband and I actually helped be apart of the startup and launch of Alive Church.

We also had to get some of the best ice cream and pineapple milkshakes from our hometown favorite, Carl's.

That would be our last time though, because we also made the decision to go Vegan.

Even if the Vegan lifestyle isn't for you, I still recommend watching What the Health on Netflix.

We attended the Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Garden Water Lily Festival which was absolutely beautiful and a lot of fun.

I basically went majority of the month without makeup because it's been way too hot and my skin has looked amazing, but here's what I've been loving:

I've also been spending a lot of time reading this month.

What I Told My Daughter by Nina tassler

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

The Fifth Agreement by Don Miguel Ruiz

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling

Positive Living Day by Day by Norman Vincent Peale

I prefer to read rather than watching a whole lot of tv. But OMG! I have been watching Game of Thrones.

Quote of the Month:

"Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort."

-Paul Meyer

I can't believe Summer is almost over but we have lots of fun plans to end the season right before the munchkin heads back to school.

I'll talk to you guys soon!
