First Impressions: Colourpop x Sonya Esman
I've heard of Colourpop many times before, I mean it is all over the internet. They are mostly known for their amazing eyeshadow and lip products, as well as their amazing prices. There was so much I wanted to try but I had no idea where to begin.
The Colourpop x Sonya Esman collab stuck out to me the most. The color choices were everything and more. I had to get my hands on it. What made it even better was the fact that it was a collection, so I bought everything in it. It made it easier to try some of everything. Colourpop was also running a sale where you spent so much and you received a free mini lip product, another great deal!
I received an eyeshadow palette, a blush and highlight palette, and a total of 9 mini lip products, all for under $60. (4 of the lip products will not be shown because they were the free lip products being offered and not apart of the collection.) And guys, don't be discouraged because the lip products are mini sizes. I personally prefer this because it gives me a chance to try new colors and products often and I feel like I'm not wasting the actual product.
So let's see the products, shall we?
Gemini by Night Pressed Powder Palette
This is the pressed powder eyeshadow palette. The colors are stunning! You receive 2 matte powders called Golden Gate Bridge and Manhattan Coffee Run, (the first and the third shade.) You receive a satin eyeshadow called the Hidden Hills and a metallic called the Moscow Sunrise. You can easily create a beautiful daytime or night out look with these shades.
Here Comes the Sun Super Shock Cheek Palette
I love this blush and highlighter palette. The pigmentation is stunning and the texture is so interesting. You can literally see the indentation from my fingers in the palette. The bouncy blush is called Matryoshka and the bouncy highlighter is called Summer Bonfire and they are both a satin finish.
Perks of Being a Wildflower Mini On the Go Collection.
You receive a mini lippie primer and 4 mini multi stix.
Empire State of Mind
Now I am not a makeup artist but here is the look I created:
